August 13 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It has been a busy day. I could use a nap, but it's out of the question. I was up early and got to the Y and enjoyed a good workout in the pool. Longer than usual as nobody showed up until later. I think I got 50 minutes in the pool. I'm thankful I got my Bible study finished this morning after I got back from the pool. It was a lot of reading this morning, so took longer than usual. I'm learning a lot from this study. I'm thankful I got my laundry done this morning. I saw my son for a good portion of my time there. I'm thankful for all the exercise I got today. I'm not wearing my Fitbit anymore and doubt I'll wear it again. I got a good walk through my son's neighborhood while the clothes were in the washer. I also got more walking when I put them in the dryer, so lots of steps this morning. I also worked at walking up and down the steps at his apartment. Both to the basement and to the loft. I'm doing much better with stairs. Soon I will be walking up and down steps like a normal person. I'm thankful I got shopping done after laundry. I needed to go to two stores to get everything I needed. I used the food card with the insurance company this morning. I can only use it at Wal-Mart. I finished my shopping at Festival where I get the alternative food for my diet plan. I shouldn't need any more groceries before I move. I bought mostly vegetables, bananas, and grapes. I've also been going through a lot of milk - almond, and cashew lately with the cereal in my diet now. I'm stocked up again. I know it's the middle of the month, but I don't see myself buying anything more before I move. I'm thankful I worked on Vendetta when I got home. I promised myself I would get five chapters done per day. It's going well. I told the receptionist at the Y this morning I wanted to just read through it this morning when I finished it to see how it reads. I'm sure it flows well. I'm very happy with it. Okay, that's been my day. I'm glad it's Friday so I can get the notifications done now and interact with you. I don't need to go to bed early tonight. Tomorrow I'll need to work on packing again. No time for it today. It will be my bedroom tomorrow and then I start in here. I also need to make my bed up before I go to bed tonight and fold and put away the clothes. That's how busy today was.
