The first I received would be for keeps

I think our 20 peso coin was in circulation since last year but it’s only this time I handle it in actual because it's not widely circulated yet. The coin will replace the 20 peso bill although the note is still in circulation and is is not demonetize yet. It’s also a new addition of coin denominations in my country. I always collect a coin when there’s new so this must be for keeps right now and I won’t spend it.

I am not a fan of coins to replace bills, they are heavier to bring around.

Yes, that's right. The bill is much easier. I think this is the 7th coin denomination we have.

@ZedSmart nice. Where do you usually keep your coin collection? I know that older coins are worth more now.

Only one for the 20 peso coin. It's not widely circulated yet in our area but I have other coins from 5 cents-10 pesos also both old and new. I lost the other coins I kept when we transfer residence.

It's in circulation I think last year but it's not widely circulated yet in our area as the 20 pesos bills are still common. Yes, we have now.

I received mine just this year... I think it was last month. I received two very shiny coins from the cashier of the Robinson's supermarket. My eyes opened so wide and then the cashier gave me another one in exchange for my 20 pesos bill. I kept them in my bag an like you I won't spend them at all.

Yes, I don't know but it became a habit when there's new in circulation. I also collect when I found coin from other countries but I only have few of them.
