A documentary about the Amazon.

I love to take my nap watching something on TV. Sometimes I will doze while Horatio Caine is putting on his glasses again. But other days I get lucky and I find something really interesting. Today I found a documentary about the Amazon. I saw them catch, cook in banana leaves and eat alligators. Now we are in search of curare, a powerful poison. The amount of bugs is impresive. The shaman has to prepare the poison and during that time he cannot eat or drink. The tells us that he has killed 10 white men in other times. They came in search of oil and killed most of the people of his village. So the ones left went at night for revenge and killed everyone. He tells it matter of factly. It is a violent world. As I see it, the white people are the worst predrators. The Amazon forest has shrunk impressibly during this last century. Some animal species have shrunk and others have grown as the animals that preyed on them are no more. Do you like such documentaries?
