August 15 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the LORD has made and I WILL REJOICE and be GLAD in it.
What are you thankful for today? What put a smile on your face? What made you feel like you did something, or made someone's day extra special? Did someone make you feel special?
Today has been a good day, a special day, a day made possible only through Jesus Christ my Savior. Let's face it, without Him, I wouldn't be here.
I'm thankful for going to church this morning. Pastor's sermon was Fighting the Good Fight of Faith. I got hugs and I didn't fall asleep, though it could have happened with how early I get up every day.
I'm thankful for getting the notifications finished before church. It paved the way for my working on Vendetta when I got home from church. I'm thankful for spending time with you in your corner of the world.
I'm thankful for achieving all my fitness goals. I'm wearing my Fitbit again. My wrist felt lost without it. Right now I have over 14K steps.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Vendetta. More chapter subdivisions. I got six chapters done today since I only did four yesterday. If my count is right, and I'm sure it is, there are now 50 chapters to Vendetta. I'll finish it tomorrow. I should also hit the publish button tomorrow. I'll know more tomorrow. I have about 40 pages left to read.
On a side note, I'm thankful for my son who made my day today. He's on his way home from Chicago where he dropped someone at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. He called to ask me what I wanted from Nana's. Only the best fast food restaurant in Illinois, but that's my opinion. I expect him to show up in the next couple of hours with an Italian beef sub sandwich and fries. Yes, I know that's not on my diet. Do I care? Heck no! It's Nana's! I might need to wait until tomorrow to eat it as I'm stuffed from today's dinner.

I am thankful for the good news that I have been reinstated to join Point Club surveys to replace Survey Junkie as well as being one day away from entering my points to Branded Surveys to be paid for my work for the week when Pay Pal receives my payment on Wednesday.

It has been a quiet day here .and that God is in control of what is going on. Watching the weather close to see what Fred and Grace are going to do weather wise.Also waiting for Office Depot to call and say my new laptopis all set up and ready to go. But thankful for what God is doing is most imprtant than tat.

That's good that you're wearing your fitbit and tracking your health. I am thankful I managed to do a project I'd been putting off. Bedroom looks like a bomb's gone off, and kicking the cat out to make the bed will be loads of fun.... but damn.... it needed done. We were running out of space to store stuff in our bedroom.

I love Italian beef sub sandwiches, from a place in Bay City. They closed down, darn it! I had a great morning today. Every place I went, someone was singing a tune! Twice this happened, it blessed my heart:)
