Lucy my beautiful cat.

I have had a cat in my life for as long as I can remember. If you love cats then I would love to share mine with you, there are four of them. When I had just one cat I thought I knew about cats but as a group living together they have taught me so much more. Lucy is my favourite cat because she is so sociable. She is not the cat that walks alone. The others are. Lucy walks with me, sleeps with me and talks with me. She has been with me about 11 years. So we know one another very well. Lucy is a long haired cat, and rather larger than average. Her most pleasing characteristic is that she is placid. I can move her to another chair, wake her up when she is asleep, put her out in the garden when she would rather stay in the house and she continually purrs. She has re-arranged her life around the heatwave and spends her days in my study or in the lounge where there is air conditioning.. When I move out of one room she soon comes looking for me. I never hear hear her arrive but she finds a chair and falls asleep and then I hear her snore.
