Meeting with boyfriend

The fact I didn't get to see my boyfriend because his controlling parents were trying to stop him from being independent and going to Texas to see me. On top of that his mom was trying to say that he couldn't take care of himself. But I've helped him and watched him do great things on his own with my assistance. And the other fact is that his mother told him to break up with me, she did this before.

Think of it this way.
If his Mother doesn't like you, your relationship with her son will always be difficult.
He'll be torn between his Mother's approval or seeing you.
It will affect everything. You'll resent her and she'll resent you and he'll be in the middle.
I'm not saying that it couldn't change over time or that your relationship with him isn't strong.
I'm just saying that if she doesn't like you, it's going to be a problem.

If he stops living with his parents he can get the freedom he want, and even get to spend more time with you.
