Griffin and Evangeline have known each other for most of their lives. At first they couldn't stand each other but when Leni looses her mother, they become inseparable. Both followed their dreams as they grew. Griffin followed his father into the fire department and Leni took over the town's small historical library. Follow their small town journey together all the way to the point where they discover that they have loved each other for a long time but both were too scared to make a move for fear of messing up their friendship. Leni still has a ton of issues to work through that she's held on to since her mother passed. Will those issues get in the way of her having everything she's always wanted? Sometimes, you have to fix yourself before you can love someone else. I would recommend reading their journey. It's a little slow but so very sweet. It will make you wonder where guys like Griffin are hiding in the real world. *picture from google
