They plucked all the Lotus !!

India

Recently I am into mobile photography and start experimenting though the clicked pictures are not perfect. It was pleasant morning today, I went to nearby pond to click full bloom lotus flower with my empty memory card. There were like around 4-5 fully grown buds but it was unfortunate for me that all were gone now. They even pulled out the stalks except the middle one which is either not reachable to me or my phone camera has capacity to zoom properly and click. Seeing this pond with no lotus buds, I am assuming to be those children from my neighborhood, who loves playing house house. . Last time they plucked all the tomatoes and papaya from our garden. Children !! Anyway, Luckily I have clicked a day before they came and plucked them. @shared image is mine

@psanasangma Playing is okay damaging the gardens or destroying the flowers is wrong, they must learn.

Children are curious and so quite understandable why they do what they doGlad you could get at least one in the picture. I bet the pond will look so beautiful with more lotus blooms. I love to go around my garden every morning and pluck some flowers for puja.

@psanasangma It is heartening to know that they live in such a neighborhood where they can do all those and enjoy childhood. Most children in urban set up end up being glued to screen and gadgets and that is sad.

I suppose they have send the lotus flowers for puja purposes. I remember I went to Jahura Kali Mata temple in Malda. there we bought the lotus flowers and offered before the Goddess
