No, we bought both. The laptop was the only thing we could walk out with.

So does this mean your last computer was a touch screen? I'm not sure I'd like one of those.

The computer before this, wasn't a touch screen. I could do fine on most sites, but others like mylot, I needed it or a mouse. The site isn't exactly screen reader friendly. Sure, I can get to where I can read discussions with it, but you still need a mouse, or a finger to browse the site.

@MarshaMusselman You can do both. I just find I have better control with the touch input, because I can get that much closer to see what I'm touching. It's also a convertable 2 in 1, so I can put it in tent mode, and watch a movie or t.v. show if I want.

@kaylachan I've never not used a mouse and might be lost without one. My daughter had a touch screen and when she left it home I still used it with the mouse

I was making it work without one, but I really do rely on them.

Well deserved. Sometimes we have to reward ourselves for our hard works.

I wasn't supposed to get anything for a few more months, but we were at best buy, looking at the price of a fridge... and I wanted to inquire about pricing for a computer with a touch screen and backlit keys. Then I found this one, which I love.

A touch screen is nice. This laptop has one, but I find I don't actually use it that often. I rely on the touchpad. Sometimes the touchscreen will work a bit better though. Congrats!
