So, I really like the ease of buying crypto on paypal. It has allowed me to build up my portfolio of cryptos a bit. I bought Ethereum this morning, as it is growing at a faster rate than Bitcoin, and is supposed to continue to do so. I have noticed there are alot of ATMS popping up that you can buy and sell Bitcoin at..however, I am holding mine for a rainy day. No plans to do anything with it at this point in time. Do you have any crypto?

It is digital currency encrypted and not backed with gold or anything like that. Since we are moving toward a paperless society it theoretically is going to be worth more in the future, and continues to become more popular.

U.S. paypal users are lucky you have that feature however I would not trust PP to hold my crypto for me, you can't get your crypto out of their platform as crypto if you need it if my understanding is right. I prefer to control my crypto on my own private wallet where I have control of my private keys and have the freedom to control and use it as I wish.
I had been doing crypto since late 2014, i think you are doing the right thing by just amassing and not doing anything, people made money from bitcoin by not buying pizza or coffee with it but by simply keeping it

Right, I view it is an investment. They say you can buy and sell the crypto on paypal if you are a verified US taxpayer. I don't think others would have access to that. You are right though..frittering it away on pizza and coffee is not going to help it build in value for sure. There are Crypto ATM's popping up all over here, but not sure how they could be utilized.

@snowy22315 Same as you. I wanted to try without consulting my husband, so I used some of my personal PayPal money.

Yes, it might be available in the future for your country I would think. You will have to wait and see what happens, but I am sure you can buy crypto other places there.

I think it is probably a good idea to have some in these uncertain times.
