Bread pudding for breakfast / myLot

I know,I know Bread pudding is normally had as a snack or a dessert. Now what one has for breakfast is had for lunch, what one has for dinner is had for breakfast.............. Bread pudding is ideal as a breakfast item. It has bread, eggs, milk, sugar, and the usual trimmings - raisins sun dried apricot and cashew nuts with cardamom for flavour. I did not blend the bread but shredded it.

I never have the same food again but keep it for the next day For lunch it will be different.

I have no specific food for specific time. I don't follow that concept. So bread pudding can be eaten for breakfast too.

I steam it in a tin that is caramelized. and that gives it a nice taste.

We used to eat bread pudding often and I like it a lot. Haven't had it for quite a while now as the girls are not that keen and any left-over bread gets fed to the chickens!
