Yet again...

A person has gone out of their way to royally disappoint me. I suppose the details aren't needed. It's yet another case of "I'm too nice-itis", mixed with I attract narcissists to myself.
I suppose I should be happy , you know, true colors revealed , didn't waste any more time and energy than I already did, didn't give him anything else...
Why can't people say what they mean and mean what they say? Why does it have to be all these lead ons - and then "no, I didn't say that exactly...." My dad was incredible at that, too - and he also had traits of a narcissist.
Anyway. Long rant. I have many people in my life I'm grateful for and am meeting new people along the way too... but.... still... *sigh*

Thanks. So right, at least I found out now.... not later. I wish we could round up all the narcissists and ship em off to island where they could fend for themselves surrounded by people like themselves.

I hav had luck with the people of my life but my daughters have not been as lucky. It seems that there are a lot of narcissists around

I'm happy you've been lucky, and I hope that your daughters have better luck in near future. Yes, there sure do seem to be a lot of narcissists, I don't know why people get that way
