Hello, again, myLot ! It's 8:28 pm by my computer clock, and I sure haven't done so great posting today ! This morning I went and paid my rent, then came home and walked Angel, then looked at some job openings on line, most of which I wasn't interested in and/or weren't suited to my skillset anyway. Then I remembered about an ad I'd read about a preschool in town needing substitutes, so I "cold called" them to ask if they still needed one. The lady told me yes, and that they could set up an interview that would be at 8 or 8:30 in the morning. She also said I needed to bring things like a driver's liscence, and proof of COVID vaccination and a resume. I had no clue where my resume was, and told her about my having moved and not being sure where it was. She said if I could find it to send it via my phone (uh--yeah, no...also not in my skillset) So, I called my current boss to ask if by chance I had given them a resume when I started working there. She looked it up on her computer, and lo and behold it was there, so she sent it to me. I had to make some changes, on it, of course, but I sent it via email. First I called to see if there was a particular email I should send it to, but the childcare center was closed, so I looked up the school on line and sent it to the email listed there. I thought afterward that I probably should have waiting until I put something else on the resume, but it's done. Before all the job-related stuff, I figured out how to put things in the shop on Facebook, and even though it was not "Internet Sales" (project) day by my calendar, I put a couple of books there. Somewhere in there I walked Angel and got the mail--such at that was. At least there were no bills. Somewhere in there I also did a load of and folded/put away some laundry, as well as start a letter. That's what my day's been like. Not bad, just busy ! How has your day/evening/etc. been?
