Rescued Brendel Ten Years Ago

Ten years ago today I rescued Brendel. So happy to have found her and give her a loving home. Her green eyes are what caught my attention at first. I have tons of photos of her of course. She makes me very happy. Her kidney disease is still present of course. But she is eating and drinking better every day. I hope to have her for many more years. And the Dude as well. Photo is mine. @DocAndersen I think the same thing about my dogs. When my daughter moved back here after her divorce and brought along two dogs I wasn't very happy. But they won me over and I can't picture life without them.

@Marilynda1225 we have two rescue labs that own the house they rent to us (food and petting) they are truly unique!

Brendel seems like a snice kitty. I hope you do have plenty of more years with her. I have had wild man Nico for 2 1/4 years. I think we need mediation..

. Maybe he will relax eventually. I might try some Feliaway or something. Cat calming treats do zip for him.

@CarolDM Nico is the only one I have ever had that was like this. He just let me pet him a little. Usually he is on guard. I gave him a treat awhile ago for not poking me when I walked by. I hope he made the association. He actually has decided to sit on me now. He is probably happier in the cool weather. We all are.

Hey, that is very cute. Trust me, even my son rescued one kitten around 4 months back, and believe me it is almost similar. I will try to attach photographs here or on Youtube within a couple of days. Brendel is very cute. BTW my son has named it 'Pota' - just a random name!
