Job Update - Being Ghosted

Well, sort of. So ghosting is a term usually used in dating circles or relationships. You're with someone, you are really hitting off real well and then all of a sdden, you are dropped like a hot potato and what's worst is you don't hear from the person as if you didn't exist or he/she didn't exist. So the personal relationship with that person is suddenly gone without explanation and that person withdraws from all communication There is something similar when applying for work. You passed all the interviews and ready to work just waiting for your contract and you don't hear anything frm the company. You reach out but dont get any confirmation from the recruitr or HR personnel about your application. Ok, so I wasn't that far into my applications but it sure feels like I got ghosted. So over the weekend, I had three interviews and two exams that I did for three companies. I passed all the exams and interviews and I'm just waiting for their calls for the final interview. I was suppose to hear from them today. Two of the three did not call. Although, I'm giving myself until the end of the week to wait for these two. Too bad because those two were good fits in terms of salary and comms. The third one, called me earlier this evening and said that the account they profiled me for isn't having a new class as they expected. The new class might happen in October but there is no guarantee about it. They called and asked if I'm good to be reprofiled. Of course, I'm good, as if I have a choice. Anyway, I sincerely hope these three aren't a case of ghosting. Have you been ghosted before? In a personal relationship or otherwise? Feel free to chime in.
