Ryan Fitzpatrick will be out 6-8 Weeks

The first game of the year The Washington Football Team faced the Los Angeles Chargers and was injured in the second quarter.
The injury turned out to be a hip subluxation. Essentially he has displaced his hip a bit which for his age is a major injury and will require rehab.
Right now they are predicting 6-8 weeks of Fitz-magic being down and stepping up to the plate is Taylor Heinicke.
People started talking about Washington getting Cam Newton while Fitzpatrick heals however, coach Ron Rivera wants to look inside his team before trying to get someone else.

That is an awesome beard that Fit is rocking.
Hard to believe that no team has picked up Cam yet.

I can believe it. He's trying to sell what he isn't anymore. Yes, he's a decent quarterback but he's not as mobile and he needs better accuracy.
They are speculating though that it has more to do with him being unvaccinated.

He refuses to be vaccinated so no teamhas picked him up yet.

@allen0187 Yeah, they won't come out and just say it but that's why everyone thinks he hasn't been picked up. I don't think it's right but on the other hand I get it too.

Sorry for Fitzpatrick, but in my opinion, Heincke is the superior quarterback. That kid can do magic. I saw it during the playoffs. Washington doesn't need grandstanding Cam Newton. I think they are OK at the QB position for the time being.

They are. I wouldn't write off Fitzpatrick though. He can still play as well. He may be one that goes to all the teams to try lol
