Good day to you all. Well, seems it is just another day of people arguing and going at each other. I guess that is just the way life is going to be for the foreseeable future. It is all about the vaccine mandate, I think Biden’s plan is working. Get us all talking about that and forget about the disaster he caused in Afghanistan. I wanted to touch on that and the fact that they were pushing the story that we didn’t leave any useable equipment behind, yet we have seen the videos of the terrorist driving around in US military vehicles and wearing our gear. Seems to me that it is useable. I don’t think this administration can help themselves but to lie about everything. Speaking of mandating the vaccine, I’m just wondering about this. So, if the mandate is held up and business start telling people that they must get it or be fired where do you think we will be in terms of unemployment rate? Do you think people will fold to the government? What happened to my body my choice? Do you think that the government should be able to take away our freedom of choice? What is the next freedom they will take from us if we allow this one to be taken from us? What if the next one is freedom of religion? Just something to think about.

Where exactly in the Constitution are we guaranteed a broad "freedom of choice"?

I think that would fall under “…life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” part. When you start telling people what they can and cannot do in terms of personal choice, you are infringing upon people’s liberties. I’m sure that’s how many people see it. I had a co-worker yesterday go ballistic about the vaccine mandate. I thought for sure he was going to go postal and come back and shoot someone. He was really fired up about the issue.

Well first I will point at @moffittjc comment and I would say okay so you would be alright with the government telling you where you can live and what job you can have? How about we let them tell us what we can wear. How about your "choice" of spouse? I'm not sure whose are in there so lets let them decide that for us too. We start giving up freedoms and who knows what freedom will be next.

@moffittjc I agree with you on this. We start making exceptions where does it stop? Oh I am sure there are quite a few people that are quite pissed off about this.

It is crazy the equipment left behind in Afghanistan. It is usable, I have seen the videos as well. When you leave in the middle of the night, this is the outcome. We have no answers to questions any more.

No cause this administration completely failed at keeping us safe. Now they are doing anything to get use to forget about it like nothing happened. I one single day he has made this country more in danger that we have been in 20 years.

@Bensen32 Some of it might be coming home to them. I will leave it at that until the story is proven correct (Milley).

That's a good question. I wonder if a federal mandate applies to all businesses or government funded ones? In which case, schools have required certain vaccines for students and staff, so that's nothing new. Same if you decide to travel. In those cases the COVID vaccine is just another one to add to the list. So far, No one is pushing masks or vaccines in the stores I frequent. And, since when are businesses allowed to ask about vaccine status or any personal health? So far, Pizza hut isn't requiring it for it's employees. Not that the food service industry can keep employees. I suspect businesses will refuse to comply.

Well one stating other vaccines that have had years of approval and testing to know the effect of it and how effective it is in my opinion, is totally different then one that had less than a year to make and even less time for testing and we still are not sure how effective it really is. Not to mention they still have not released the ingredients in it to the public, why not? So in 10 years when we have some actual data on it let me know and we'll see where we are then.
