If you've ever watched Star Trek, you know what a Replicator is. You've also thought, at least once, about how much you'd like to have one. Imagining how nice it would be to simply say, "I want a Whopper, fies, Coke and a chocolate shake. Super Size it," then watching the door slide open and seeing your order there, fresh, hot (And cold, as in the case of the shake and Coke) and ready to eat. No shopping, cooking or going out involved. Any food you want, instantly and effortlessly. But it's just another Science Fiction Fantasy that won't be Science Fact until long after you're dead, right? Not so fast there, Sparky. It might be a lot closer than you think. Did you know that you can already buy Chocolate 3D Printers? You probably did but since nobody ever tells me nothin' so I didn't know until just recently. And granted, these machines are a long way from a Star Trek Replicator but they are a start. Replicators are just 3D Food Printers. And we have them now. Primitive, yes. Overpriced, yes. Underperforming, check. But they are advancing and one day they will perform well and be affordable. They will also make more than chocolate. There will be one in your kitchen. ************** 3D PRINTERS / RANKINGS The 4 Best Chocolate 3D Printers 2021 https://www.3dsourced.com/3d-printers/chocolate-3d-printer/#: ---------------------------------------- Eating 3D Printed Chocolate! 1,078,859 viewsApr 27, 2021

@xander6464 Did you ever notice how much Spock liked plomeek soup? A plomeek was a Vulcan chicken... Supposedly Spock was a vegetarian.

I call it a house boy and he does a great job--in fact many times I don't even have to say carrot cake out loud and he brings me one!!

@GreatMartin How much of that "cooking" is done in the kitchen?

Do you have to pay him extra to cook?

Sweet! I don't doubt that you're right, but I really think that there will be like 1 or 2 things that it can't do real good. Like everything will be awesome, except the pickles and gravy will suck. Or it will need weird amounts of cleaning. You'll be all like "the mashed potato jets are clogged again" lol
