Trophy Awarded at the Fish Fry

Spent some time at the local fish fry today. They had the fundraiser for the high school football team. Lots of people showed up. And they had tons of deep fried catfish.
Also I noticed someone had donated a nice football trophy to the tram. They will get it engraved later. Tonight is their Homecoming game. Always an exciting time at Homecoming.
They had a parade today as well. And after the ballgame tonight there, will be the Homecoming dance. Last year they had none of this due to COVID. Happy the high schoolers, especially the seniors, will experience it this year.
Lots of good times for all. I hope they will all be safe and enjoy.

That would be fun and exciting since they missed one year Homecoming because of the pandemic.

It sounds like you had a really good time at the fish fry.
I think that its excellent that they had that fund raiser and that they have this new trophy.
Its time for us to try to get back to a little bit of normal, this is a start with a high school sport.
