Funny: London Bridge is Not Existing

This morning, my young boy student made me laugh out loud. We were talking about London Bridge and if he wants to visit it in the future.
Me: Do you want to go to London Bridge?
Student: I don't want to.
Me: Why not?
Student: London Bridge is not existing.
Me: Ha?!?
Student: Do you know the song 'London Bridge Is Falling'?
Me: 
Student: Why are you laughing?
Me: It is only a song. It means that the London Bridge is still existing.
I guess this song can lead to misunderstanding and misinformation among the young ones who are not in this country.

He's technically right... the "Old" London Bridge from the nursery rhyme ended up being replaced by the "New" London Bridge in the 1800's, so that one no longer exists. Then in the 1970's, the city sold the whole bridge to an American chainsaw magnate who had the whole thing moved to Lake Havasu, Arizona. It's only a few hours by car from where I live. I'd recommend visiting in late January... it's a little on the chilly side, but they hold the annual hot air balloon festival and fair around that time and it's pretty fun to attend.

@Shavkat I told Pretty about your student and you explaining it to him... She thought you did a good job... I still think you should stop making it fall down... But I know you and she doesn't.

@Shavkat Welll to be fair they did redo it from what I read and they said their is like three bridges called the London bridge now or something like that , but imagine one of them is the True London bridge.

@Shavkat tower bridge still is in the UK. London Bridge was sold to a company in the US, it is now in Arizona!
