I should really get back in the habit of taking pictures of what I cook at night, but things have been so busy that I just haven't thought about it. Anyway, I made pigs in a blanket tonight. Simple and the kids love it! I know a lot of people use hot dogs when making pigs in a blanket, but I am not a fan of hot dogs ninety percent of the time. I worked at a ice cream place for a year and we had a roller grill, and I had my fill of hot dogs there. Well between there and the farm I worked at in high school as event staff. I use lil smokies. I used a can of crescent roll dough, and half a pack of lil smokies, and made a big batch of them. So that was easy, and everyone was happy.

Oooh, I want some pigs in a blanket, but we use hot dogs for ours. Sometimes, we buy mini hot dogs and the crescent roll dough and make mini pigs in a blanket. I love it.

I dont like hot dogs, so we do the lil smokies. I do cheese in them a lot of the time. I do have hotdogs though in the fridge, because sometimes she child doesn't want whatever we are having for dinner, and thats a easy meal for her

@tammys85 Cocktail weinees. Lol, thats what they are known by to a lot of people. I love mac and cheese. I like baked beans when I make them becasue I put a lot of bacon in them. You can always make chili dogs!

@thislittlepennyearns Ooooh! lol. Yep, I think that's what I know them as lol. We just eat the baked beans from the can. Oh, and I LOVE hot dogs and beans. Hmmm, another idea, maybe for lunch lol. Maybe. I don't really eat chili, but some of my family does, but I think everyone is a fan of my brother-in-law's recipe (no idea what's in it though, I never asked). He also makes some sort of chili dip when we have the smaller pigs in a blanket. I'll have to at least try that sometime.

The hubby and I both love pigs in a blanket. I used to take photos of my dinners, I haven't lately though.
