Signs of Fall

Well, it's a different day. No pool. No car. So, I took to the trail. It was time. I have the apartment just about finished. I'm hanging pictures and expect to finish that today.
It's also the first day of fall/autumn and the weather is right on time for it. We had a cool 53 F this morning when I went out. I took a couple of pictures on the trail of the change happening there with the trees.
No animal life this morning. Not even the sound of birds. It was very quiet. Refreshing with the crisp cool air.
Has fall shown up where you live, or is it spring where you are? Thanks for reading. The image is from the trail this morning.

We have the same temp today(Sept 23rd) and I love it. The trees are beginning to change, a beautiful season that I favor above all the others.

We've had cooler temps the past few days from the hurricane down south and the rain we got all week from that. Only a few trees are beginning to turn but next month they'll be shopping their glory more and more.
Your have a lot going on, no oil, no car and it sounds like you've moved into your new apartment.
Our cupboards finally arrived so I've been painting again trying to get done before next wed.

Brrrr! We have plans with friends for dining outside Saturday night. I know the restaurant has heaters.

That means winter is close, ugh! LOL. We were in the 40's when I took my son to school but I was glad the windows weren't frozen. like yesterday. Supposed to get up to 80 degrees by the time he gets out of school. Guess that is fall here when it is cold in the morning but warms up around noon.
