Plan will expire soon

The lock up period of 24 months for my phone subscription will expire in just 3 months from now. I felt like it's not long ago but time really fly that fast without being noticed. The phone is still in good form and condition but I have this liking to have a new device come the renewal period. If I chose to renew the plan only, its price is a bit lower say 60% only compared to the plans with free device. I think I still have to decide but my niece was already eyeing the old unit if I get the plan with free device because her phone was dead and just use my old brand of phone that is not working so well.

I checked the prepaid plans and they have larger data allocation but I want to retain the post paid plan. Yes, she liked it.
