Mace is the red portion of the nutmeg you see in the photo Mace is a condiment that is used to flavour sweet desserts and biryani. I use it while making the caramelized bread pudding The pudding gets a rich flavour. Mace is very expensive We have a nutmeg tree and we sell the mace and the nutmeg.. We hardly get a few grams in the year but that is money
