A few days after the storm last week, my dogs caught another huge rat. This time it's a male, judging from his large balls. These rats are so hard to capture, I have a big rat trap but only captures rats half his size. Of course, I give them some meds afterwards.

Your cat must be well fed so it doesn't need to hunt.

@Letranknight2015 yes we do feed the car well. She is spoilt i would say. A fussy eater and always looking for the finest foods to eat

Well done for your cat. My ginger cat caught a big rat last summer, but he didn't eat it and just leave it at the back door, and it smells so bad. I had a big job cleaning it and hose down the water to get the bad smell out. LOL

It was a dog that caught it. I had a cat before but it was rare they could catch a rat.

@Letranknight2015 I really thought it was a cat who caught this rat. LOL. My other cats like to hunt a mouse and they love to play it like running and catching before they eat the mouse.
