As my passion to hunt photos, I found this plant named Rose Grape. It was so fun to do brisk walking while hunting some plants around the neighborhood. It is native to the Philippines. It is called medinilla magnifica or rose grape. It is a showy one and that is why it is also called showy medinilla. Did you like it? Does it really show the description of it?

That's a nice flower. I like the color too. I'm sure my mum would have loved to add this to her collection of flowers.

@Shavkat does this plant grow in the wild?

@Nawsheen I think it is possible. Since I am living in the mountain, it is most likely that it will grow in the wild.

I also love it. I can still see it in my neighborhood. I really cannot get off if not seeing it first.

I assumed it was also based on the botanist who named it.

@RebeccasFarm Yes, it was my first time to see it. I usually hunt photos that I haven't seen in my life before.
