I thought I had.
My student that was to start swimming is having some ear issues, so we did not swim today. Maybe next week.
My students that were both out sick yesterday were back today.
Every day is a new schedule it seems.
Someone asked me about covid where I live. The statistics as of this afternoon are that there are 97 active cases in the county, four in the hospital.
We seem to be doing okay, but it is still out there. It is still around.

I'm not sure of the local covid statistics, but just in the Centre, there are a lot of women not being alllowed in because they haven't been vaccinated. (Provincial law passed last week mandating it for any place that serves food.) There was an incident this morning at the Centre of an unvaccinated woman insisting she be let in and then getting violent when denied entry. Other than that, it was nice and quiet.

That irrational violence is as bad as a plague. If the law says no, she should stay home. I am confused at just how we are quarantining with the exposed kids in school, because they are too young for the vaccine.

I don’t look at the statistics of covid anymore. I hear it’s still thousands. Not a good thing at all.

Nothing is locked down at this point. We just all must be careful individually, I guess. I will be getting the booster shot at some point. The school will provide for it.

I hope people pay attention to the fact that you can become ill with things other than covid and good health habits help avoid all of them.
