Fried Rice Toppings

Hello everyone ! Hope everybody is doing good and is free from illness. I'd like to show you what I used as toppings for my fried rice during our 2 weeks quarantine. This is the available toppings I got from the fridge , beaten eggs with salt and pepper, and grounded sausage meat mom bought from her friend. What I did was I cooked the eggs first and when done I cut them into small pieces, then I cooked the ground sausage meat until it becomes brownish then I cooked the rice and added flavorings. After doing those, I just mix all the ingredients up , the scrambled egg and the ground sausage meat with rice and there you go fried rice is ready! Do you lotters have your own way and style in cooking fried rice?

When my fried rice is almost cooked I add beaten egg into it and stir vigorously until the egg disappears and coats the rice, I cover it and put out the flame. From time to time I add turmeric powder to my fried rice to make it healthier , add color and make it similar to Java rice. My favorite thing to add is left over barbecue or anything charcoal grilled and shreded by hand or a fork..

As for me, I do not cook them separately. I use butter, add some spring onions, then eggs, then ham or spam or anything you like, then rice. then add salt and pepper to taste.

I don’t cook fried rice because my 6 year old is allergic to wheat and most soy sauce are made with wheat. Is also allergic to eggs but that would be easy to not place in it. So his rice is always steams and the kids seem pretty happy with just steamed rice. I usually add a little bit fo seasoning to the rice

@iKONICNoona rice in general he is okay since it’s a grain. So we use it for a lot of meals. No need to be sorry about it can’t control what your allergic to you. Who is to say even if he wasn’t that he would even like fried rice as is or even eggs for that matter
