Isn't amazing how things are constantly changing and how rapidly those changes are taking place.
The cartoon the Jetsons was one of my favorite cartoons growing up.
To think we have mobile phones and teleconference are today common place as we talk through a screen these days when once apon a time we would have to travel sometimes hundreds or thousands of miles just to have that same conversation.
Slowly the world is moving away from the combustible engine even though its taking a lot longer than it should.
I only hope with the uptake of EV cars that the electric inforstructor can handle the extra load on its plate.
With the introduction of the Internet of things its only a matter of time before the common household car becomes a car service that picks you up with the mare swipe of something on a screen or better still a " Suri order a car for 3pm to pick the kids up from school.
Those of us old enough to remember when we could get milk in glass bottles delivered to our front door never thought when that disappeared because of supermarkets close by that they would make a come back by having the supermarket being on a computer screen and not just milk but everything else your heart desires delivered right to your front door the same day.
Some communities are still behind the time but its only a matter of time before they too will enjoy the wonders of groceries delivered straight to their door with a swipe of ones screen,
What other emerging technology inventions are you looking forward to seeing and using?
Who would have thought that the world of the Jetsons 60 years ago was just a cartoonists imagination and today a lot of that imagination has now become a reality.
If you want a glance of the possibilities of the future world might I suggest you watch a futuristic movie called Bicentenial Man , staring Robbin WIlliams and several other great actors which slip my mind.
Again I love technology and watching how it changes lives.
A few months ago my mother in law got herself a touch screen smart phone and she wouldn't use the technology just the phone part .
After a little coaching she now uses the function of voice texting instead of calling all the time.
This is much safer for her than having to call while she is driving.
The beauty of this is she can safely text and drive and legally too as both her hands remain on the wheel and she can ask the phone to read the text that arrived to her as she keeps her eyes on the road.
Well Ive said enough on this for now
I now would love to hear your thoughts on Technology and what you like or don't like.
SO take it away mylotters I want to hear from you

I totally agree with u , technology has helped me a lot. I love it.
But people now always brings the smartphone everywhere. Sometimes, during our quality time with family, they are still busy with the smartphone. Chatting, taking selfie.. i mean.. let's be mindfulness for everything we do now. Don't get easy distract with notification

Thanks for your comment, however, I was thinking more than just the smartphone, other technologies that are emerging such as the smart fridge, the VR glasses, driverless cars, etc
I am always excited when I learn about something that is noteworthy and can affect the life of the average person.
Driverless transport will be a game-changer, yes it will change the way we think and the way we move things across the world but it will I'm sure create new jobs and opportunities that we can only imagine.
