Ahead of schedule

Our two workers are ahead of schedule so they may not return until next Thursday unless they get other work that's been on hold done in two days and then they might return earlier. But that's okay because I still have glassware waiting on boxes to store away and then everything else will be cleared away from the bottom cupboards so those can be torn out too. My workers are a gal that owns her own business working for seniors mostly at twenty five dollars per hour. I'm guessing she's in her fifties. She has a helper, a young man that knows what he's doing too. They planned on needing two days this week to put together the new Ikea cabinets but it only took them five hours. So the next day they took out the old upper cabinets and soffits above. The soffits were a mess. One side was filled with insulation and plaster and lathes. But that only took the morning to get that gone. They spent the afternoon putting up six out of eight upper cabinets. The reason they're waiting on the last two is there's a pipe from the kitchen sink that will need a cut out in the cabinet to fit and it curves so they want it right. The first image is of the soffit with the lathe running along the bottom. The next shows bare wall where the old cupboards were with a small amount of soffit they are leaving over the sink. The next she's the whole area on either side of the sink with the soffit above. One shows views of the new cabinets both being white that are are up on the right and left side of the room. The last pic's the backsplash and laminate countertop we picked out. We haven't ordered the laminate yet. Btw, I use cupboards and cabinets for the same thing.
