The start of October

Today is October 1st. Looking forward to the leaves changing colors and the much needed cooler weather. But there may be some warm days in the forecast still.
No plans for October really as I don’t usually plan things ahead of time. Maybe that’s not a good thing.
Not much you can do in NYC now if you are not vaccinated.
Would be nice to go away somewhere now that it is no longer hot outside... Where to go? What to do? What to see?

Many people here are also losing their jobs because they are not vaccinated. That is so wrong!

@lovebuglena I agree, this is wrong, this should be a personal decision. The vaccine is not so effective that they pretended, why do they want to oblige people to get vaccinated?

I know how that feels Lena.
I go mad wanting to go somewhere right now..the restlessness hits me hard at this time of year.

Hubby told me that one of his friend's wife's family has a large house in PA somewhere. His friend may be going there with his wife around October 15th. Not sure if I wanna go but I think he does. He'd have to take days off from work though. Not sure he is gonna do that but maybe as on the 14th his friend is turning 50.

Lots of places to go and choice from. Personal if I could go any where right now I think I’d take a trip to like PA or MD since they are not to far form where I live.

@lovebuglena my kids where asking if we don’t go to Ohio to see family where could we go that is close to us and I started to list off the close states that are with i less then 3-4 hours of us. Since we live on the boarder of two states it takes like 30 minutes to cross into them

October is going to be busy for us. Doing the paperwork, etc. for FINALLY getting the other house listed and SOLD, October 1 was 55 years since our first date, October 3 is our 51st anniversary...then we will be going on a 4-day trip to Erie. You should plan a little jaunt away from home for a few days.

Happy Anniversary in case I do not go online tomorrow. Enjoy your short getaway. I'd love to do that as well.
It would surely be great to finally get rid of that house. It is such a headache for you.

I don't go out much these days and that is not a good thing. Being at home a lot can get to you. Plus, need that fresh air. Hopefully now that the weather is getting cooler I will get out of the house more.

That's nice. My 1st cousin, my niece, one of my aunts, and one of my uncles have birthdays in October. And a distant cousin of mine also.
