A very odd story from Oklahoma

A squirrel ringing the doorbell of a resident in Oklahoma City Oklahoma

Oklahoma City resident Dakota Anglin and her husband were not home at the time when a squirrel decided to ring the doorbell to their home recently. The funny thing is that Dakota had a video camera installed in her home to record the squirrel whose gender was not revealed using his or her paw to touch the doorbell most likely out of being curious. The neighborhood with the Anglins live has plenty of squirrels living in their area. The squirrel that was videotaped ringing their doorbell is the first and only squirrel so far to ring a doorbell when the homeowners were not at home. Technology is useful to record when uninvited guests come to visit a home. In this case a squirrel.

That is funny. Lots of squirrels that hang around here. Two that think this house is their property. They are always running around climbing trees and jumping around even on the porch.

That is so amusing but now that this squirrel knows how to ring the bell it might tell others and they will all come asking for nuts,

Lol, I bet this was the first squirrel to ring a doorbell ever not just when the homeowners weren't there. At least with the camera they wouldn't have accidentally let the squirrel in by opening the door because they didn't know who or what was outside. I've mistakenly let a smaller critter , a chipmunk, inside when I didn't shut my screen door good enough. It took some thinking to get it out.

Without the video camera they never would have known who rang the bell!

That is true since technology these days with security cameras catches what is going on all of the time.
