@oahuwriter All that sounds sooooooo good! Marukai is a long drive from here - like almost an hour . . . but oh gosh we haven't been that way in at least a couple years. Also a long drive can take us to Mitsuwa or Nijiya . . . but there are NONE local to us in this Valley. Enjoy for me!!!

You like variety too... you'd love Marukai. They got sushi, plate lunches, you've seen my bento, single serves if fish - tempura - tonkatsu- well, you see what I mean lots of food. Then there's mandoo, roast pork, fried noodles in some salad... lots of cooked foods. Now Marukai open the o the public too. Safeway is almost the same except leaning towards American favorites & sushi.
