Universal Basic Income survey - what a joke

Hello, I was just reading an article that the headline said, “Most American’s approve of a Universal Basic Income”. I can’t say I am for it or against it really. I would need to know a lot more about it, like how much are we talking about and who will get it. Are there any limits to who gets it? Is this a lifelong payment? Who or how are we going to pay for something like this? They are talking about Social Security running out, so how would this not put us farther in debt? How could this be possible if we can’t keep up with the Social Security? There are so many questions that I would have to have answered to know if this would be something I would support or not. So, I’m reading the percentages they are giving and how they broke it down and then I notice that they mention that 2,050 people were surveyed on this. That means they surveyed .0006% of the U.S. population and headline it that most American’s approve. That seems a very low percent of people to say most approve. Maybe survey a lot more people before saying that. I guess that was enough to get what they wanted out of the survey.

A very small amount of persons that were asked about the Universal Basic Income idea. The UBI sounds like a weird dream.

Yeah, not a lot doesn't mean anything really. Yeah it is odd, and I know some how we will all pay for it and I would rather not.

no that is not near enough people to get any real idea of what Americans think.

Somehow "universal" and .0006% doesn't go together in my opinion.
