One thing I like about school bus drivers is that they do a wonderful job of taking students from home to school and back safely without asking for fame and admiration from the public. A female bus driver in Milwaukee Wisconsin used her wits and her ability to prevent a possible kidnapping of a young girl early in the morning on Thursday when she saw a young man forcing a female into his auto. The female bus driver whose name is not mentioned did her job to assist the police by taking down the license plate to of the auto that attempted to kidnap the young girl from her home. The female bus driver heard the screams from the girl for help. I do not know if the bus driver is a mom or not but she did the right thing by following the auto that had the girl inside to make sure that the kidnapper would not get away with a crime. I am sure that the bus driver did contact the local police to halt the attempted kidnapping and put a stop to a possible tragic event that day. The Milwaukee police did manage to save the kidnapping victim by blocking off the escape route of the kidnapper and arrest him. Vaun Mayes of the community group Com-Force MKE praised the bus driver for doing her duty to prevent a tragic event in her community by calling her a "Hero." I am sure that the bus driver who works for a private bus company in Milwaukee will receive a reward from her employer and the police department for saving a child from being injured or worse at the hands of a criminal who has a track record of committing these kinds of criminal acts recently. Bus drivers can be heroes too.

I agree with you that bus drivers have thankless jobs dealing with kids that act immature aboard a bus.

I'm glad the bus driver had the presence of mind to get the license number and to follow the car.
