Well, I'm going to work next Monday again, but evidently the lady I'm working for is going to find someone else. That's her prerogative. She was a bit unclear about a lot of things anyway (like the first time I "worked" for her, I thought I had the job, but then she said she needed to talk to someone else...?) Oh, well. At least she paid me. That's money I wouldn't have had otherwise. I was a bit concerned that she would want me to work tomorrow, as I'm having some bookshelves delivered at 1:45 p.m. Wasn't sure if I'd have to reschedule that or not. Right now I'm going to see if Angel would like to go for a walk. When I get home, I'll find something for dinner. Hope your day/evening/etc. has gone well in your part of myLot land ! In the meantime, I called a lady who called me when I was on the bus this morning. Yesterday a young lady at church suggested working as an substitute (?) aide for the local school district, and I gave her permission to give the lady in charge my number. Unfortunately, I had a lot of trouble hearing her over my phone while I was on the bus, so I called her when I got home today and asked her to call me back so that I could speak to her where it was a little more quiet. Hopefully that will work out. Angel just wolfed down her dinner, so I'd better get ready to take her for a walk.
