Day 122
2 Chronicles 18:28 So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth Gilead.
29 And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, “I will disguise myself and will go to the battle, but put thou on thy robes.” So, the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle.
30 Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, “Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel.”
31 And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, “It is the king of Israel.” Therefore, they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.
Has someone approached you for help and you agreed, but their ways were not the same as yours?
King Ahab of Israel asked Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, to go to war with him. However, Ahab didn’t follow the Lord wholeheartedly, while Jehoshaphat did. When Jehoshaphat saw the battle was against him, he cried out to the Lord for help and God helped him.
As Christians, people ask you to compromise your faith and follow the crowd. When you refuse to compromise and ask for God’s help as you walk out your faith in front of your peers, they will back off. Satan can’t stand against prayer. He must flee and leave you in peace.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.
God will always turn the battle in your favor when you submit yourself to Him, pray, and give yourself wholly to Him, forsaking the world.
Let’s pray: Father, help me to seek You in the battle. Let me see Satan’s plans and submit myself to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

I believe you`re right. We should pray and give ourselves wholly to God. Thank you for the wonderful reminder and prayer. God bless us all
