The storms have arrived

Shortly after I got home for the evening, the storms arrived.
Lots of thunder and lightning. Pouring rain. Cool breezes.
Hubby had made pasties for this evening. And we shall have them tomorrow as well.We ate coleslaw with them tonight.
I am feeling a little cool this evening, so I took a nice warm shower. After that I got out my warm fuzzy robe and some bed socks.
Six thirty is a shade too early to go to bed, but I wanted to.I will wait a half hour or so more. Maybe go to bed at 7:30.

I usually go to bed at that time but it’s because I watch tv and mylot from my bedroom. I don’t like staying in the living room.

We do the same thing here. Our apartment is small, so the bedroom has ended up as the primary living area.

@wilsongoddard oh ok. My husband watches tv from the living room. My son watches from his room. The three of us watch different shows. So we each have our own space.

@toniganzon Our living room is more of an office space. Even if I had a television set up in it, my husband would likely be working and not wanting bothered by the noise.

Oklahoma, where my brother lives, is having storms and high winds and hail. I feel lucky we did not really get that kind of weather.

Homemade pasties, that sounds delicious, coleslaw is a wonderful salad! I love putting my fuzzy PJs on at night.

I love a good storm. What I don't like, though, are the tornado watches that sometimes accompany it.

I'm on my bed when I'm playing on myLot. Not usually under the covers but lying across my bed. My laptop lives on one side of my Queen size bed.
And yes, it got chilly (58F) when the storms went through here and then today never got above 68F. (I turned the heat on this morning.)

Our house seems to still be fairly warm. I do not think I could use the laptop that way. I do not use it well in bed at all.

@GardenGerty Our house seems to be a bit odd. We turned the heat off later that afternoon because it started getting too warm and haven't turned it back on yet. It's still comfortable at 72F.
I got used to using mine like this when I had rectal cancer and couldn't sit for very long without having a lot of pain. *shrug*
