I have something in common with Daniel Craig. He has suffered from anxiety and that is my diagnosis as well(major depression and panic attacks) Ugh! He says he had to deal with no script and waiting now for his fifth and final James Bond movie to come out.
For those of you who don't know what anxiety is, it is a feeling of uneasiness and fear. It causes a person to feel tense, restless, have a fast heartbeat, and even sweat.
Anxiety is the most common mental illness in America. That says something for our way of life here, doesn't it?
Anxiety affects about 19.1 million adults in America. Twenty-five percent of all teens and about 30 percent of teen girls suffer from this disorder. And, only about 43.2% are receiving treatment. 2.2 million Americans suffer from obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD) and 19 million have specific phobias.

I went through a year of anxiety and panic attacks that left my nerve quite weak. All the rest of my life I fight against my nerves especially when things go wrong, or bad or something happens that scares me but somehow I am managing, I do have my ups and downs,

I have medication now for it. I fought it for so long. Now I feel it coming on and instead of getting really sick I take a pill. I get so bad I get a rash, throw up, shake, etc. It isn't pretty. I have gotten to know what I can handle and what I can't and have had to eliminate some things in my life. A husband and such.

@celticeagle I do not take any medication if things get bad I have my Valerian root drops they help me stabilize but I have been quite good lately. It was my husband who was a great help to me and when he passed I really had to get myself together because I knew if I let myself go in my grief I might never pull myself together again So I do my best and if I have to even yell at myself in the bathroom mirror it helps,

@RasmaSandra You are fortunate you can take Valerian. I took a teeny bit of that to help me sleep and got quite ill from it. Deeply headachy and like I had to vomit.

We all have some or the other stress these days. At times due to monetary factors, work, relationships.
Not everytime one feels like going for medical help.
Also not all medical advice is also that helpful.

William James, American philosopher and psychologist once said "Faith is a force essential for helping people through life. Lacking faith is a warning that shows a person's vulnerability when dealing with hardships of life; we have an unbreakable connection to God. If we put ourselves under the power of the almighty God and surrender to him, all our hopes and dreams will be realized'.
Accepting that you cannot control everything is a major key to managing anxiety, which can be done more easily with the understanding that God has a greater plan and that He (SWT) knows what is best for us.
