Where ever you live that is where your home is. I like to think of my home as my castle. The place where I want to spend my time. The place where I want to relax and enjoy life. Everyone has a different place to live. You can live in a cave, an apartment, a mobile home, a townhouse or a duplex. All those place are your home. Like the saying go. There is no place like home.

I agree that my special spot is being at home with my immediate family. Being in my room is like being in another world. It is only my world.

I've owned large homes, lived in a travel trailer to "find myself" after a divorce, an apartment and now in a mini house I had built. All are homes. You shut the door, grab your hot tea, or what makes you relax and have peace. Some people can invade that space so have to be diligent to stop that from happening.

We had a four bedroom house in Colorado . It was big and nice to raise six children. When we retired we bought a two bedroom home. That is all the two of us need.

@jstory07 My little cabin is 500 sq ft and only has one door inside and that is a bathroom door. It's for me and perfect. No more large homes for me.

I agree with you friend. That home is a palace for us. So we have to arrange the house as neatly as possible, so that we stay comfortable and comfortable living in it. Because our home is our castle.
