Walking out on your job

An odd statistic that was recently released from the federal Jobs Opening and Labor Turnover Summary. It states that since the beginning of September till October 10th that approximately 4.3 million workers have walked off the job.
It does not tell us why or exactly from what kinds of jobs this are from. It doesn’t tell us if these are low paying or high paying jobs. It doesn’t tell us if these are people who have been with the company only a short time or long-time employees. It does say that a high percent is from the healthcare and food service industries.
We have seen time and time again about how there are 10 million open jobs in the states, but these people are walking off their jobs and it doesn’t tell us if they left for better jobs or just quitting their jobs. Do we just assume they left for a better job? Or are they just unemployed right now?
I wonder what happened in early September that might have set this off. Seem to me there must be a reason for so many people to up and quit their jobs in one month. Oh wait, isn’t that the same time that Biden talked about mandating the vaccine? I wonder if that had anything to do with so many people walking off the job?
Do you think maybe this information is missing something? Could it be that these people were forced out of their jobs? I can only guess since I am not an expert at knowing what information might have been left out of this announcement.

My employer is now also asking for the list of vaccinated and unvaccinated. I dont know what I will do if they make it mandatory.

@Bensen32 Wow you too? I dont understand why would they make something not FDA approved mandatory.
And here there is shaming too. Got to make a stand.

@yoalldudes Yeah, I just don't trust it and i would rather take my chances without the vaccine that with taking it. Well, I guess one maybe even all of them are approved now but that still doesn't mean anything to me at this point.
Oh yeah there is the shaming being attempted here too, even our moron of a president has done it on national television. But for me, I was never swayed by peer pressure as a kid and I certainly wont be as an adult.
