You know the saying Give him enough rope and he will hang himself Well it became a reality for Yvonne and me a few years back. A guy we had some fun with. Young guy, 22 years old As he was leaving our house one night he asked if he could borrow a rope to tow something Thinking nothing of it I gave him a long blue Nylon rope. Fast forward a few months after not seeing him again I phoned his number. His mum answered Told me her son had hanged himself. Threw himself over a bridge with a blue rope tied around his neck. Wow. How bad is that?

That was not very nice of him really. To know that your rope would be identified. And you would have to live with that. RIP tho poor guy

@RebeccasFarm Oh the Coppers never got in touch with me. I went to the bridge. I could see it happen when I closed my eyes

That is just awful. I wish he had asked you for HELP instead of a rope.

@FourWalls, you're absolutely correct. The boy lacks parental love and care.

@cacay1 Excuse me, you can't say something like that about " the boy lacks parental love and care" Bang out of order, and totally wrong. What would make you say something like that. Bloody know all I spoke to his family and spent a lot of time in his family home. He was a much loved son. And a much loved brother and grandson. @FourWalls was right. He should have come to me for help

That's just awful. He had a whole life ahead of him. 22 years is no age to go...

@JimBo452020 If you had seen any clues, you wouldn't have loaned him the rope.

@1creekgirl Sadly I was in my experimentation period. What I saw was distorted. I probably would have loaned him the rope if truth be told. I often wondered how I could have made it all different

Oh my goodness, you could not know, I suppose nothing made you to think that he wanted to hang himself.

If this is a true story that's very sad. The rope wasn't necessarily yours. Or was it?
