October 13 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night. I got 8.5 hours. I must have needed it. I know I was still in a lot of pain when I went to bed. I woke this morning without any back pain. 
I'm thankful for the walk on the trail. I got a lot of fall pictures. I don't know why the collage didn't upload here on the last post, but at least you saw some color if you read that post.
I'm thankful for breakfast. I made pumpkin waffles for the first time. I got the recipe from a good friend of myLot who hasn't been here in a while. It's very good. I still have batter left for lunch.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Where Eagles Soar. I'll be happy when I finish this edit and can start over on it with everything in a proper format. It will be a while. I'm considering working on a new novel for NaNoWriMo next month. We'll see. Thoughts are already starting to surface.
I'm thankful I finished the notifications earlier and saw what you're up to in your corner of the world. It's time to get off the computer for the day.

@Nakitakona NaNoWriMo is every November. I don't participate every year. It depends on what I have going. Last year it was surgery, so no time to participate.

I'm thankful I found 15 dollars in my paypal for food and hopeful to find more soon and that Iam out of the hospital and hope not to go back a fourth time LOL

It will be a long time before that happens. The format is messed up and I need to get it looking proper. I'm even guessing where the new chapters are. I'm hoping to publish this by early 2023. I might even consider another manuscript before this one and work on both at the same time. It's a thought.

So sorry to hear you are still having back pain & l hope you are fully back to health following your surgeries I too had 8 hours sleep last night & boy it does make such a difference! Stay well! .

This back pain is nothing. It's called too much walking. My knees are doing great. Thank you.

The colors are really beginning to pop, love your photo. Glad you had a good day.
Thankful to go with mom in law to doctors this morning. Praying her tests come back good as they have been. Thankful for our church service this evening. Always good to be with brothers and sisters. Have a blessed evening

It's nice to see the colors change. We only have a little here and I guess it's been on the warm side and the foliage is confused

This is a nice photo, fall colors are so beautiful! Yesterday I spotted a bright orange tree, but didn't have my camera. Pumpkin waffles, sounds like a delicious recipe. Jay buys frozen waffles and enjoys them about once a month.
