I am lucky enough to get ARCs from Carrie Ann Ryan and it's awesome because I absolutely lover her books.
They are not complicated books. They are not full of drama. She takes life and relationship issues and works them out.
The Montgomery books are not paranormal, they are just regular, real romance.
Inked Devotion is the third book in her Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins series. One day the Montgomery's are going to take over the world with the way they multiply and adopt friends as family lol.
It's even a long standing joke in her books that they could be a cult if they wanted to.
Brenna is an adopted Montgomery and has been around the family for a very long time. Everyone thought that she was in love with Beckett but Beckett is now with Eliza and everyone is acting weird.
Benjamin, Beckett's twin, always liked Brenna and thought that she was hot. There was a hands off rule because she was supposed to be the friend and also, everyone thought she loved Beckett.
Of course, nothing is so simple. Leaving for a road trip to her family reunion, Benjamin decides to tag along. Turns out he could use a little distance to think over his own issues, that aren't really issues.
What happens when the person that's supposed to be off limits becomes the person you want most in the world?
Easy, you screw it up until you look like a bumbling idiot for a bit while you try to spit it all out.
When things don't go according to plans, you make new plans and hope.
One road trip. Two friends. What could possibly go wrong.....everything.
All of her books can be read as stand alones but I recommend reading them in order. It's just more fun that way.
