William Shatner's flight into space with Blue Origin

William Shatner had the experience of a lifetime yesterday when he went into space on the second manned flight of Blue Origin's New Shepard suborbital spaceship. I watched the video of Mr Shatner's description of his experience last night, and he was almost overcome with emotion. This isn't surprising, I'd probably be the same way, but less eloquent. Being shot into space on a rocket, experiencing weightlessness and seeing the Earth from space must be an overwhelming experience. I'd love a chance to do that myself. I don't have the funds to buy a ticket at the moment, but who knows - maybe one day? If Shatner can do it at age 90, maybe there's hope for me. And with more than one company getting into the space tourism business, ticket prices are bound to fall over time. At the moment it's seen as something exclusive and glamorous, like the early days of aviation - but one day everyone will have the chance to go into space. This is only the beginning of the real Space Age.

I saw that on the news. I’d love to go, too.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to do Victor? I agree with you. Yes perhaps one of us can afford to go up there one day.

It wasn't really what I imagine as 'space' but yes it was obviously a good experience!
