October 15 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day. I first woke at 2:30, got up watched a little TV, and went back to bed for another 2.5 hours. I'm thankful for the sleep I've been getting the last few nights. A little crazy this morning. I think my brain is expecting me to go to the pool. I wish. I checked the weather, watched a show, and went back to bed at 4. I'm thankful for my time here today. It's been a strange stop-and-go day here, but I have now finished the notifications. It's good to see what you all are doing in your part of the world. I'm thankful for my friend who came to see my new apartment. She loves it. She said it's a definite upgrade from my last place. We then went out to dinner. I'm thankful for going to dinner with my friend. She's my friend from Writer's Guild, the one I went to Washington Island with a couple of years ago and last year too and helped me when I needed it with getting to therapy last year after my surgeries. As always am thankful I got to the city and back again with no incidents. Also got the mortgage paid and the internet is working fine after a big hassle this morning.

She’s a Good friend indeed to help you when needed. I’m thankful for a cool sunny day. I got out and Went for two walks, and my daughter in law and my son and a sister called .me. I enjoyed talking to them.
