A Beautiful Day

I went earlier than usual this morning to mail my grandson a birthday card then I walked on down to the creek. Trees were green but the trail was covered so leaves were falling. The sky was a bright beautiful blue in the tree tops. The glint of light on water turned the flowing creek to silver. The air was fresh and easy to breathe. Our creek flows into the Chatahoochie River but thats miles away. The fallen tree that had blocked the trail was finally removed and the trail was open. I would guess I walked a quarter mile before I came upon a fallen tree off the complex properties. I turned and walked back up the trail. It’s such a beautiful day and I wasn’t ready to go back to my apartment so I continued my walk on a grassy area behind the leasing office, I would guess a quarter acre with picnic tables and several barbecue pits. I walked around it about a dozen or more times. I looked at my watch and I saw I’d walked 45 minutes so I headed for home. Now I’m on my deck mylotting.

@RubyHawk , I was a big walker before, but unfortunately, due to health problems, can't do it anymore. I really miss this a lot,

@marlina Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t realize. Leo had to give up walking several years ago and he loved walking.

I love walking outside, if I have to I'll walk the treat mill but I love getting outside.

I couldn't take your humidity, here the humidity rarely goes over 20%.

Yes it was And today was just as lovely but I had a doctors visit and my son came in to visit and that was nice too, I did get a short walk in.
