I dozed off for a while....

It's 8:40 AM here. I was mylotting from the bed early in the morning. And it seems that I dozed off for a while doing so. I slept with my reading glasses and my smartphone in my hands. My husband woke me up at 8 AM and then I realised that I actually took a early morning nap of 40 minutes. Well, feeling much better now. Guess I would be in bed for most of the day and keep taking such naps. Husband made ginger tea and I am feeling better after enjoying that hot cup of tea with few sugar free cookies. Husband has made some breakfast. I had made the batter ready on Sunday for idlis( steamed rice and bengal gram dumplings) and it was convenient for him. He has also made cabbage fry for lunch. So, I just need to make some hot rice and dal ( lentil soup) at lunch time. He is done with kitchen work and logged in for his work. I am feeling better enough to take care of other little things. The sun is out. I hope it stays for the day. I should be mylotting for a while before I get into the kitchen and grab my plate of breakfast. My daughters are sleeping. They woke up early in the morning, studied for couple of hours, went for morning walk and had their breakfast. They wanted to take some rest before they start with another study session.. Well, they have a study leave for two days and they should know how to make best use of it. I am in the guest room. I have isolated myself in this room after my vaccination. I don't want to pass sickness to others, especially when they have their crucial exam time. And being isolated also gives me some more quiet time and more time to spend online without being bothered. So, now I move on to reading and responding and kicking off the notifications. . The house is so quiet and I just love it. I sit next to the window that lets the morning sunlight fall onto the bed. So, I am getting some warm sun as I mylot

So yesterday was an off day for you? My kids got a much needed break here. So you got the second dose of Covishield? Quiet time feels good at time!

No, yesterday was a working day. But no work with children as they were in exam. Got one meeting with teacher and two with parents. I dropped my daughter in the morning and then attended work. Then I too my shot around 11:30. I am off today and tomorrow. We get two days post vaccination leave. I don't have much work till end of the month as children have exam. It's few works that I can do at my leisure. From November, let's see if I am to work offline too like others. Yes, second dose of covishield. Quiet time is a blessing

@arunima25 So far the chances of a 3rd wave look very less. Yet we need to wait till Diwali. If things move as they are now, and kids' vaccination is launched fastly, we could have full offline schools from the next year April.

@arunima25 Let us hope for the best. Even a few from the opposition party are now praising the Centre for the 1 Billion administered doses.

I did that. I don't want anyone to accidentally fall sick because I pass it on to them. It's crucial exam for my daughters especially my elder one who has to score well to secure a good college next year. Thank you for your wishes. I am feeling much better than yesterday. Frequent napping and mylotting is helping

@LadyDuck I am all okay now. A little bit tiredness is there and that's normal after few days of fever and bodyache.

At least your husband is so caring and understanding. Some husbands don't cook they feel insulted gosh It's Sunday and we can do what we like.

@cacay1 Irrespective of gender people should learn life skills. Cooking and chores are important life skills.

Oh! Poor thing! I hope your cat is all okay now. I understand the situation with your mom. Sometimes we are too tired to go to bed. Then the bed comes to us

Yes, we need elbow room and some quiet space from time to time. Vaccinations are increasing and hopefully covid will decrease. Enjoy your day
