Trump's shocking if not surprising statement on Colin Powell's death

There is no bottom. There is no bottom below the bottom. Trump issued one of his insane statements today on the death of distinguished military member and former Secretary of State Colin Powell who died yesterday from COVID. He said: "Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media. Hope that happens to me someday. He was a classic RINO, if even that, always being the first to attack other Republicans. He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace!" I thought Trump was pro-military? The big orange baby is still pissed that Powell endorsed Barack Obama and Joe Biden for president. The Obama thing is likely just because he hates Obama for making fun of him at a White House Press Correspondent dinner years ago and therefore hates anything connected to Obama. The Biden thing is because Trump was running against Biden and Powell didn't endorse him. That statement would have been horrific coming from ANYONE let alone a former US president. You know. . . sometimes you just don't have to say anything at all. If Trump couldn't say anything nice about Colin Powell he could have just kept his nasty mouth shut. He doesn't have that ability, though, since he needs the attention to be about him. It amazes me that people still support him. He is a truly awful human being.
Roughly 24 hours after the death of Colin Powell, Donald Trump proved, again, that he is utterly incapable of empathy, grace or even common decency.

Free Speech. It's important. Don't like Trump, but wouldn't presume.to gag his right to say what the hell he wants to say.

@NJChicaa I don't think it's disgusting that he feels the need to say the stuff he does. He is a truly.awful human being at least he appears like that. And yes, it surprises me that so many Americans actually do support him and that he could become your next President

Just because he has the right to say it doesn’t mean I have to listen to it. And I don’t.

Some people just don't know when to keep their mouth's shut. Got to give it to him though... he's honest on how he feels. So... I guess in the end it doesn't matter.

It didn't surprise me at all that he made the comments he did. Not any different than the ones he made about other people.

I never understood all the support for Trump and was relieved when he was voted out. I thought he was dangerous. I was reading his health is not good at the moment and for that reason he may not run again in 2024. Whether that's true I don't know.

Someone posted on my Facebook page that they agreed with Tr*mp over it, saying that Powell’s “lying” to get us involved in the Gulf War was “why everyone in the Middle East hates our guts.” No, “everyone” in the Middle East hates our guts because we support Israel.

No tact whatsoever . . . no filter . . . what a thing(s) to say in someone's passing.

I agree he should have said nothing.
