Some of my neighbors don't want covid vaccination

While walking early in the morning, I came across three (3) of my neighbors who were discussing COVID vaccination. Two (2) of them are brother and sister in their 60s who are not yet vaccinated and the other one (1) is just living adjacent to their respective houses and had full COVID vaccine. I joined their conversation and told them that there's nothing to be afraid of the vaccine. But they really don't want it. I gave them a sample and comparison, I told them about my officemate who is not yet vaccinated and my cousin who is fully vaccinated. They're both positive of COVID. They were confined in the same hospital and stayed there for two (2) weeks. My cousin was discharged after she recovered while my officemate was likewise discharged however, he was advised to have an stand by oxygen tank in case he will be short of breath as he has not yet fully recovered although he is already negative of the virus. But my neighbors, this brother and sister vehemently refused to understand what I have told them. So I gave up. I went to my sister's house thereafter, I went to the store to buy vegetables. Maybe they have their own reason why they don't want the vaccine. They have the right to refuse.

Had my first dose of Moderna just this morning. Yes they have the right to refuse. My parents at 80's refused. At my place senior citizens and frontliners was prioritized that's why I only had mine.

@AkoPinay I was not vaccinated during my first and second attempts. I have to get a clearance from my dermatologist because I have psoriasis. I may have allergies on the vaccine. I was only vaccinated after I presented the required clearance.

@pahak627 only few supply of Moderna this morning. Glad I went early. I was asked what's my preference so I choose Moderna. I believe only 8 of us got it. The rest got Pfizer. Previous batch got Sinovac. The senior citizens was prioritized -first batch had Astra and others had Janssen.

Many people are still against the vaccination. If you are vaccinated, you will only get mild symptoms if infected

Maybe there should be a massive information drive for those who have not yet had their vaccine.

Yes I even heard that some of them do not have vaccines because of their belief and religion. Well, is it possible that it is against one's religion?

You proved their point on not being vaccinated with both the unvaccinated and the vaccinated positive with COVID.
